Bro the ending of season 3 made no sense. They spent all season building up Soldier Boy to be the only one who could possibly defeat Homelander, just to have Butcher team up in the finale with the one guy who he hates more than anyone in the world, the guy who r*ped his wife, to fight Soldier Boy. Soldier Boy even honored his word to Butcher. Butcher helped him hunt down his team so Soldier Boy was willing to kill Homelander, and was still willing to kill him despite the fact that he learned Homelander was his son. Cause he knew what kind of man Homelander was and knew he had to die.
